Bei uns steht nicht die Masse, sondern das Erlebnis im Vordergrund.
Mit maximal acht Teilnehmern reisen wir zu den fotogensten Orten des Nordens – vom Eisfjord in Grönland bis zu den Vulkanlandschaften Islands. Wir sind zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort, wenn das Licht magisch wird und die Natur ihre Ruhe zeigt.

Dieses Foto hat Jan Rousek bei der letzten Fotoreise in Grönland mit seinem Smartphone aufgenommen. Es zeigt sehr deutlich, dass gute Technik hilfreich sein kann – aber nicht alles ist. Entscheidend ist der Blick, die Aufmerksamkeit und die Fähigkeit, einen Augenblick zu erkennen und festzuhalten.

Mit Radmila nach Grönland zu reisen, war ein tolles Abenteuer und ein fotografisches Erlebnis. Sie kennt die Landschaft und wusste immer genau, wo wir hinmussten, um die besten Bilder zu machen. Die Gruppe war klein und Radmila hat sich viel Zeit für jeden einzelnen genommen, das hat die Reise wirklich besonders gemacht. Grönland auf diese Weise zu erleben, war wirklich einmalig. Bei den Kreuzfahrten können Fotografen oft nur einen flüchtigen Blick auf die Natur werfen. Diese Fotoreise war dagegen etwas ganz Besonderes. Radmila hat uns an Orte geführt, die man nur als Insider kennt – wir waren direkt ‚am Puls‘. Die persönliche Betreuung, das intensive Eintauchen und die Tipps von Radmila haben diese Fotoreise wirklich herausragend gemacht.

Schon lange war es mein Traum in Grönland zu fotografieren. Diese Reise hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Radmilas Fotowissen und ihre Tipps haben meine Fähigkeiten auf ein neues Level gehoben und die atemberaubenden Motive, die wir fotografiert haben, waren einfach unbeschreiblich. Zudem war die Gruppe einfach super und die stets gut gelaunte Radmila schafft eine Atmosphäre, in der man sich wohl fühlt und viel Spaß hat. Ich komme sicher wieder!

Island stand ganz oben auf meiner bucketlist – und jetzt war ich mit Radmila Dier am Ort meiner Träume. Wer zur richtigen Zeit am richtigen Ort sein will, um in perfekten Bildern den isländischen Charme einzufangen ist bei dieser Profifotografin genau richtig. Es sind unvergessliche Tage mit stimmungsvollen Landschaften, coolen Lost Places und wundervollen Blicken auf den Snaefellsjoekull, ja, einfach supertolle Eindrücke. Dazu wie auf Bestellung sehr schöne Polarlichter und sehr erfolgreiches Whale watching garniert mit der ganzen Palette von Islandwetter. Ich freue mich schon sehr auf die nächste Reise mit Dir.

Eine wunderbare Fotoreise auf Island! Sowohl die Ostfjorde als auch die Südküste waren sehr beeindruckend und fotografisch ein Leckerbissen. Obwohl ich einige der angefahrenen Ziele schon von früheren Reisen kannte, gab es immer wieder Neues und Überraschendes zu entdecken. Dank der kleinen Gruppe war auch immer Zeit für den einen oder anderen Ratschlag beim Fotografieren. Auch die Organisation der Reise war perfekt. Wenn auch der Schlaf manchmal etwas zu kurz kam, fühlte ich mich keineswegs überfordert. Schließlich musste man ja sowohl bei den Sonnenaufgangsterminen als auch bei den Polarlicht Beobachtungen dabei sein. Außerdem war die Auswahl der Hotels Spitze; ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Und dank der Fahrkünste unseres „Cheffahrers“ sind wir wohlbehalten auch zu den abgelegensten Spots gekommen. Ich werde gern wieder an einer Fotoreise mit dir teilnehmen.
Fazit: 5 von 5 Sternen!

On December 24th, Christmas Eve, Kertasníkir leaves the mountains —
the last and youngest of the Icelandic Christmas trolls.
Kertasníkir follows light.
And the warmth of candles.
Long ago, candles were precious — a source of light and, for Kertasníkir, a tempting treat. But Kertasníkir is a gentle, almost childlike character.
His fascination with candles is less about stealing
and more about their glow, their warmth, their quiet magic.
On dark winter nights, he follows the soft light, simply to admire it.
Today, Kertasníkir stands for hope and light during the darkest time of the year.
For well-behaved children, he may leave a small gift.
Those who weren’t so kind may still find a potato in their shoe ;)
With Kertasníkir, the journey of the 13 Christmas trolls comes to an end.

Ketkrókur carries a long hook.
And he knows exactly how to use it.
At night, he moves quietly through villages, searching for meat left unattended.

On December 22nd, Gáttaþefur, the eleventh Icelandic Christmas troll, leaves the mountains.
His name means “Doorway-Sniffer” — and it perfectly describes his special talent.
Gáttaþefur has an incredibly sensitive sense of smell. At night, he sneaks up to houses, sniffing through door cracks and keyholes. What he’s looking for is the scent of freshly baked Christmas treats.
His absolute favorite is laufabrauð, Iceland’s traditional Christmas bread.
The smell draws him deep into villages, where he patiently waits for the perfect moment...

On December 13th, Giljagaur, the second Icelandic Christmas troll, leaves the mountains. His name means “Gully Troll” — he loves hiding in Iceland’s deep ravines, far away from human eyes.
But his true passion has always been milk.
In the past, he sneaked into farmers’ storage rooms and drank fresh milk straight from the cans. Today, Giljagaur has adapted to modern life.
Instead of ravines, he prefers kitchens. When everyone is asleep, he quietly opens the fridge, searching for milk cartons. He never empties them completely — trying not to get caught. Still, he sometimes leaves clues behind: a tipped-over carton or a fridge door left slightly open.
For well-behaved children, Giljagaur leaves small gifts.

🎄 Something very special starts in Iceland on December 12th…
While we decorate Christmas trees and bake cookies, the mountains of Iceland open every year – at least in the old stories.
High up around Dimmuborgir, Lake Mývatn and the lava landscapes of North Iceland, the Icelandic Christmas trolls are said to live. From December 12th onwards, one of them comes down to the people every single day. They sneak through houses, barns and kitchens, causing mischief. But well-behaved children may find a small gift in the shoe left by the window overnight. 🎁

Damit hätte niemand gerechnet!
Manchmal schenkt eine Fotoreise genau in den letzten Minuten das größte Staunen.
So war es an unserem allerletzten Abend in Ilulissat im September. Eigentlich haben wir gerade den letzten Drink bestellt, als eine Frau hereinkam und sagte:
“Well, I don’t know what you guys are doing, but outside are the northern lights!”
Nichts wie raus. Direkt über der Diskobucht zog das Nordlicht in weichen grünen Bögen über das Firmament. Dieses Mal kein Warten in der Dunkelheit – die Stative standen einfach auf den Balkonen unserer Hotelzimmer.
Danke für dieses Abschiedsgeschenk, Grönland!
Nach der Reise ist vor der Reise: Im September 2026 sind wir wieder in der Disko Bucht unterwegs. Wenn du dabei sein willst: aktuell sind noch drei Plätze frei.

Letzter Tag auf Island
Der Nebel hängt tief – so dicht, dass selbst die Berge verschwunden sind. Am schwarzen Strand von Reynisfjara wirkt heute alles geheimnisvoll, fast magisch. Kein Sonnenlicht, keine Fernsicht – nur Wind, Wellen, Regen und dieser besondere isländische Zauber.
Fotografisch ist bei so einem Wetter wenig zu holen – aber die Stimmung? Unbezahlbar.
Eine wunderbare Tour geht zu Ende – mit einer großartigen Gruppe, so viel Lachen, Entdeckungen und unvergesslichen Momenten. Eigentlich will ich gar nicht heim … aber irgendwann hat alles ein Ende.
